Think Green: Think Packaging & More
The constantly updated and ever evolving Green Products include the latest in recycled, biodegradable, renewable, and PLA packaging. Packaging & More distributes items manufactured from renewable resources, such as corn, soy beans and potatoes, while also carrying 100% recyclable items in everything from trash liners to shopping bags to clear hinged containers. On average, about a dozen new green products are introduced into inventory each year, including recent additions in green cleaning and janitorial supplies.

Paper, Plastic & Reusable Bags
Every size, shape and color of paper, plastic and reusable bags are available. While years ago, retailers carried both paper and plastic bags, now most customers carry paper, plastic, and at least one type of reusable bag. Paper bags are available in hundreds of sizes, in white and kraft, and with or without handles. Plastic bags are offered as standard grocery sized 1/6 bags or with cardboard inserts, typical of restaurants and caterers. Plastic bag recycle bins are also accessible all across Rhode Island, in both supermarkets and pharmacies. Cake containers, pie boxes, cookie wedges, and bread bags are Packaging & More bakery staples. In addition to these popular items, about two dozen poly bags, of varying dimensions, include the majority of bakery offerings. Peripheral items such as labels, gloves, baking sheets, and baking cups are also on hand. Basically, anything necessary to run a market’s bakery department or a stand alone store is most definitely a stock item 24/7/365. Deli & Seafood
In today’s industry climate, a supermarket is only as strong as its fresh seafood and prepared foods section. Pre-pack salad containers can be found in clear or black, as separate bowls and lids or as one-part hinged packages. Meat
More and more butcher shops and meat departments offer full service meat counters, with impeccable selections, in almost a 1960s combination of customer service, choice offerings, and all natural packaging. For these retailers, Packaging & More offers PLA product trays and all natural butcher, freezer, and wax papers. Other retailers, with traditional meat departments, look for varieties of steak papers, patty paper and boxes, and traditional foam trays—all core business since Packaging & More opened its doors in 1993. Additional items such as bone scrapers, cotton and cut resistant gloves, meat film, and scale labels are also available and in stock every day.

Produce & Floral
Standard roll and wicket plastic produce bags are available as stock items or special prints. Packaging & More also carries product twist ties, cut fruit bowls, nut/candy packaging, and produce trays and film in a variety of materials and sizes. In produce, increased sales usually comes down to the proper presentation of quality items. Prepared Foods, Kitchens & Catering
More and more supermarkets operate their deli departments with an expanding prepared meals service in mind.
